Barrack St Compliance Co is a Canberra-based compliance consultancy for registered training organisations (RTOs), group training organisations and government agencies. We have worked from Canberra since 2009.
Local advice for ACT training providers
We help private and public training providers in Canberra and the ACT understand where they stand against the Standards for RTOs 2025, the VET Quality Framework and their funding contracts, and what to do about it. We help government agencies implement and apply the Standards.
Rainer Wilton, our principal consultant, has led more than 250 audits at state and national level and has provided compliance advice to more than 85 RTOs.
Services
- Internal audit: We audit your RTO against its own compliance management practices and the Standards, and report our findings by risk.
- Assessment validation: We conduct comprehensive validation of assessment systems, tools and outcomes.
- Funding contract compliance: We help RTOs and GTOs maintain compliance with state funding contracts, including NSW Smart and Skilled and ACT funding agreements.
- Ongoing compliance support: A monthly retainer, or advice on specific matters as they come up.
- Professional development workshops: We conduct professional development workshops relating to all areas of VET practice.
ACT funding agreements
Our experience with funding contracts is comprehensive and current. We help ACT providers maintain compliance with ACT funding agreements, including Skilled Capital and Australian Apprenticeships, through contract audits, follow-up audits and the systems needed to manage compliance day to day. Yes. Our office is at Canberra Technology Park, 49 Phillip Ave, Watson ACT. Meetings are by appointment.
Do you work with ACT funding agreements?
Yes. We conduct contract audits and help providers develop the systems they need to maintain compliance with ACT funding agreements, including Skilled Capital and Australian Apprenticeships.
Can you come on site?
Yes. We work on site with providers in Canberra and the surrounding region, and on site, off site or both for providers elsewhere in Australia.
